Westwood old Girls Association (WOGA) launches GoFundMe Fundraiser Account

The Westwood old Girls Association (WOGA) launched a GoFundMe fundraiser account ad day after a devastating fire ravaged part of the 135-year old institution.

On the night of May 2, 2017, a fire struck at the all-girls boarding institution in Stewart Town, Trelawny. In the end, the kitchen & dining  room were both destroyed.

WOGA is expecting to raise US$100,000, which is approximately JMD$12 million. So far, as of writing, they have raised $5425, which is a little over 5% in the 9 days since the account was launched

WOGA on GoFundMe

We, the past students, known as the Westwood old Girls Association (WOGA),  have decided to do a GoFundMe, hosted by South Florida Chapter WOGA, Inc, to facilitate the rebuilding efforts of not only the kitchen & dining room, but also the science lab ( which has been earmarked as the major project for 2017), at this institution.
We are happy that you have decided to visit this campaign & say….. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR KINDNESS.
