This is a Royal Caribbean video entitled “Experience Falmouth” showing things to do in Falmouth. It reveals a few attractions in Trelawny, including Chukka Adventure Tours, Margueritaville Falmouth, Braco Horse Back Riding, River Tubing on the Martha Brae and River Rapid Adventure (Rio Bueno).
Unfortunately. most of the clip is made up of attractions in St. Ann. It points to the fact that Trelawny deperately needs quality attractions to keep visitors in the parish. Selling the history (Historic Falmouth) does not work if visitors are being whisked away to places outside the town.
If you are thinking of visiting Falmouth on a cruise, the video above shows the packaged tours outside of the town. However, if you really want to see and know Falmouth and its history, then you may want to take a Guided Walking Tour with Jamaica Heritage Walks.
Founded in 1769, this architectural gem boasts the finest collection of Georgian architecture in the Caribbean. Falmouth and has been listed as one of the world’s 100 most endangered monuments four times in the last decade.
