Popular Trelawny businessman 47-year-old Deon Adams, also known as ‘Killer’, of a Stewart Castle, Trelawny address is now awaiting sentencing for rape in the Trelawny Circuit Court.
The incident occurred in 2012 and it was not until 2014 that he was pointed out by the alleged victim who was now 14 years old.
Adams held out on his innocence until DNA evidence left him with no choice but to plea guilty.

A Trelawny businessman who pleaded guilty to raping a minor at knifepoint, in the Trelawny Circuit Court last week, will return for sentencing on Wednesday.
The accused is 47-year-old Deon Adams, who is also known as ‘Killer’, of a Stewart Castle, Trelawny address.
Allegations are that in 2012, Adams posed as a taxi operator and picked up a 12-year-old girl who was going to school. He then drove the car to a remote area and held the minor at knife-point and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her.
