A young man from the community of Hague near Falmouth in Trelawny, is now in police custody for questioning in the death of Bruce Walters.
Known only as Rayon, he has been missing since the Sunday afternoon beheading of taxi driver, Bruce Walters.
This morning, he calmly sat in the yard of his father not far from where he lived and the police were summoned and took him into custody in Falmouth. Citizens had angrily burnt down his home on Sunday afternoon after the incident and he was not seen since.
On Sunday afternoon, Bruce Walters was heard calling for help, and when citizens arrived, they saw a man attacking him. They tried stoning him, but he did not stop until he had totally severed the victim’s head and walked away.
The head of the victim has still not been found.
