Multiple Killings on Foreshore Road, Falmouth
Foreshore Road in Falmouth was the scene of a blood bath last Friday evening as 3 persons were shot, of which 2 died and one was admitted to hospital.
Reports from the police are that about 4:45 p.m last Friday 50 year old Jacqueline Cargill-Gardner, of Florence Hall was killed. The incident occurred in her car wash and wheel alignment business on the most westerly road in Falmouth. She was pounced upon in her office by three men, two of whom were armed with guns. They shot her multiple times.
They were clallenged by a licensed firearm holder who shot two of the men. They ran into the nearby swamp safari which is interstingly, the home of many crocodiles.
Two men were hit and one died. A Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol was revocered from the scene.
One escaped, but his identity was known.
The police promptly issued an appeal for him to turn himself during a national newscast on the same evening of the shooting.
According to Acting Commander of the Trelawny Division, Winston Milton, 25-year-old Levaughn Williams, otherwise called “Bulby” of Dutch Hill and Wakeland Drive, Trelawny, turned himself in this morning accompanied by a religious leader.
