First Murder in Trelawny for 2018
The first man killed in Trelawny parish for 2018 was wanted for questioning in the murder of upcoming singer Jamari Reid.
He was found last Saturday morning with gunshot wounds in the community of Gravel Hill in Duanvale.

Jamari Reid’s murder shook the Falmouth community in August, 2015. He was a promising, upcoming singer who was born and grown in the parish capital.
On August 24, 2016, reports were that at about 10 pm, gunmen gained entry to his house, tied him up along with his girlfriend and a friend and shot him execution style. They then casually walked away from the scene.
