A 70-year old woman from Litchfield, Wait-a-Bit, is now dead after trying to do a good deed. She died at hospital after being chopped by the man whom she attempted to take to the hospital.

A man who allegedly attacked three people in Top Litchfield near Wait-A-Bit in Trelawny is now in police custody facing a murder charge following the death of one of the victims.
Seventy-year-old Violet Rowe, a farmer from Litchfield died at hospital shortly after the attack.
It is reported that about 7:20 a.m., the man was being transported to a medical facility by a relative when he attacked her with a machete and then ran.
The man then turned on Rowe, chopping her several times.
Another man was also attacked, allegedly with a farm tool.
All three injured persons were taken to hospital, where Rowe later died.
