Jehovah’s Witness Annual Convention
It is no secret that the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium is under-utilized, but don’t tell that to the Jehovah’s Witnesses. They have held their annual conference in that location for the past few years. This year will be no exception.
Theme
The Jehovah’s Witness annual convention will be held under the theme: “Imitate Jesus!” In keeping with Jehovah’s Witness tradition, there will be no admission fee. Their conventions are supported by voluntary donations.
Personal Invitations
The convention is open to all, but the Witnesses will be specifically targeting the following parishes with personal invitations: host parish Trelawny, neighbors St. Ann, St. James, Manchester and St. Elizabeth as well as Westmoreland, Hanover and the Cayman Islands.
3-Day Event
The Jehovah’s Witness convention will be a 3 day event, beginning Friday, July 03, 2015, at 9:20 a.m. It is expected that up to 8,000 persons will attend the convention.
