Holland High School Passes

Holland High School celebrated their 10th anniversary at the Falmouth United (Kirk) Church. Now approaching its 11th year, the school has been achieving unusual success for a non-traditional schools.

This relatively new school located on Carib Road in Zion (Martha Brae), has quietly been getting some excellent passes in the CSEC and now CAPE external exams. Twice they have been mentioned on national television by Education Minister Ronald Thwaites, as an example for other ‘new’ high schools to follow.

Under the wise and firm leadership of Mrs. Pauleen Reid, the school has become known for its discipline and its resulting impressive external exam passes.

The students and teachers have achieved a 100% success rate in 8 subjects and above 80% in 9 subjects. Often-times only the students are heralded. Falmouth News would like to acknowledge the following teachers for preparing students for success in the recent CSEC and CAPE exams.
