The parish of Trelawny, along with the University of Technology (UTech), is mourning the loss of Davian ‘Chippy’ Mason Harvey.
Harvey collapsed and died of a suspected heart attack while playing football in his hometown, Bounty Hall, Trelawny on Sunday.

The University of Technology (UTech) family is mourning the death of a former vice-president of student services who died of a suspected heart attack on Sunday.
Davian Chippy Mason Harvey reportedly collapsed and died while playing football in his hometown of Bounty Hall, Trelawny. The UTech Students’ Union sent condolences to his family via Facebook.
“The Students’ Union Council sends our condolences to the family of Davian Chippy Mason Harvey. Former VP student services 2011-2012, who passed away (on Sunday) while playing football. May his soul rest in peace,” the students’ union said.
Since the announcement of Harvey’s untimely death, scores of persons have paid tribute to him via social media. Harvey – said to be in his 20s at the time of death – leaves behind a baby daughter.
