In a classic case of ‘falling on his own sword,’ a Trelawny man was stabbed to death by his potential victim early Sunday morning.
From Jamaica Observer:
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – Sean Clarke, 37, a labourer of Water Lane in Falmouth, Trelawny, died after he was stabbed in a confrontation with his alleged victim on Newton Street in the parish on Sunday.
Reports are that about 2:00 am, Clarke allegedly attempted to rob a man of cash at knifepoint.
A tussle ensued between the two and the man managed to wrest the knife from Clarke, and reportedly used it to stab him.
A report was then made to the police who transported Clarke to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say that investigations are continuing.
