Kenya followed up its surprising 400 metres hurdles men gold, with gold in the 3,000 metres women’s steeplechase. They capped the night with an even more unlikely gold: the men’s javelin.
Jamaica will seek to add to its medal tally through the 4 women in the 400 metres final tomorrow morning local time, at 7:40 am. Stephenie Ann McPherson, Novlene Williams-Mills, Shericka Jackson and Christine Day will be on the medal hunt for the green, gold and black.
