Cruise Ship Passenger Died In 4-Vehicle Collision on North Coast Highway

According to the police, one person died in yesterday’s accident along the North Coast Highway. The incident occurred near Carey Park, Duncans. The identity of the deceased has now been released.

Thirty-two-year-old Crystal Glewwe died as a result of injuries she sustained in the collision. Others in the group were also injured.

The crash involved 4 vehicles.

Police report that about 3:10 pm the driver of a truck travelling towards Duncans lost control of the vehicle. It slammed into a Toyota Coaster bus headed to the Falmouth Port with about 20 cruise ship passengers.

A grey Toyota Corolla motor car, a white Freightliner truck and a yellow Toyota Hiace panel van were the other motor vehicles involved in the collision.

The passengers were on their way back from the Dunn’s River Falls attraction in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
