The videographer of popular Dancehall Deejay Aidonia, was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Trelawny at about 8:20 pm last night. This took place on the dangerous Braco Main Road.

Dead is 33-year-old Lamar Dukie of Aires Avenue in Smokeyvale, St Andrew. He was reportedly killed when one of the tyres blew out on the seven-seater Toyota Isis vehicle in which he was travelling. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which ran into a tree.

The group of 5 who were in the vehicle were on their way to a football match in Montego Bay. Aidonia was about 20 minutes ahead of them in another vehicle.

A policeman was also in the vehicle along with another member of Aidonia’s promotional team, Ricardo Dryden. They were all taken to the hospital where Doukie was pronounced dead.

The Aidonia delegation is due for a European tour later this month.

The Braco Main Road has been a hot spot for fatal accident over the years. This was found to be due to the slippery nature of the road surface. The road has since been re-surfaced.

This accident follows the death of 3 persons in a previous accident on the Falmouth Bypass (near Rock District) on April 6.
